At your service since 1947...
Le Glacier has long been one of the best restaurants in the city of Orange, Vaucluse important city , a few kilometers from Avignon , capital of Provence . He could receive a large number of guests thanks to its large room over 80m2 without pillars. Guests savored their meals adorn the ceiling moldings to the French . The restaurant was closed shortly after the acquisition of the hotel by our family in 1947. In 1930, Glacier had 18 rooms from 15 to 30 francs. All had hot and cold water ! In the late '60s, there were 25 rooms from 13 to 25 francs per night ! This period saw the biggest work to bring the building up to modern standards : Heightening the 3rd floor, flow , lift, ... The hiver2012 / 2013 saw the 3rd generation to engage its large round work up to safety standards and accessibility including the installation of a new elevator, the creation of 6 rooms including 2 for a Disabled Persons , the total renovation of two rooms and replacing two roofs ! Phew, blowing up a bit and let a bit of work to the next generation!
We have not stopped since to maintain the highest level of comfort and safety for our visitors. The choice of decoration and changing equipment put at your service has always been our priority. It seems that this will be recognized by them as our guests staying in Provence are our most loyal ambassadors and many tourist guides are recognized us we honor mention . The most famous of them ( we can not name ! ) , We quote from nearly 70 years continuously , except for a transition period in the early 50s.
